I started out with the plan and intention of doing 21 day juice fast. At 14 days I had so much energy that I was cutting, stacking and dragging 5 cords of wood in one weekend. That was after starting back to working out. After my weekend of being able to do the wood, I decided to lift weights and do two 30 minute workouts a day. I have had to add protein to my diet to keep myself from losing too much weight and to keep my muscles fed.
It's simply astonishing how much energy I have. In a few short weeks I have been able to completely clear out my body and begin the road to strengthening it. My Abs are taking shape nicely and I can see the six pack that has been hiding for a few months. My glutes are also responding, thanks to good old fashioned lunges with 12 lb. weights. My arms and back are tightening up and showing their definition once again. I should be bikini ready just about the time the snow flies, lol! Heck at least I'll look decent enough to wear a bikini at the Hot Springs in Pagosa.
Seriously though, this detox program was about sanity not vanity. I have gotten sick a lot over the last several years. Not with colds or the common flu, but with serious conditions that really depleted my body. People tell me all the time I don't look 43. Well now when someone says that I can honestly say, I don't feel like it either.
A little sacrifice, self discipline and excitement, you have the makings of a complete internal/external makeover.
