Summer used to be a time for the beach, vacations, and overall water fun. Now, we have 4 short months to get all our outdoor projects completed before winter hits and the snow flies. Just in the last month or so we've managed (with the help of my friend Ric) built 2 goat houses, remodeled and fixed the barn, installed gates to enclose the front of the property, put up winter wood, winter hay stock and so much more.
Finally we can all relax, enjoy the last month of decent weather and adjust to shorter days of sun. I've been working at getting my body back. Since the fires in June we've had 3 fires affecting our air quality, I've had asthma ever since. Coughing and wheezing has increased the tension in my neck muscles, causing a lot of pain. I'm being conscious of posture, taking more breaks and have laid off lifting heavy things. Homeschool is back in session and my daily routines are adjusting.
This is one of my favorite times of year, the trees change and my meditation time is longer. I hope all of you are focusing on rejuvenating too. Lots of earth changes are happening and it's been a miraculous ride, surely going to get more interesting.
Blessings to all,
