If you have a day or moment like this, there are a couple things you can do to get grounded. The first thing is to close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Take slow, deep breaths, visualizing white light from the top of your head through the bottom of your feet.
A very old meditation technique is to visualize that you are like a tree. Your feet are roots that extend down into the earth. Allow your imagination to see the earth absorbing any negative energy, while transmuting it into life force energy back into your feet. The tree meditation is meant to ground and center you.
I like to use EFT or Tapping to refocus my energy and mind. I tap on phrases like “Even though I feel this scattered energy.” When I do a round of tapping to refocus I finish with “I AM now clear, focused and grounded”.
So many things are happening within us, to transform, expand and allow our soul's growth. It is imperative that you don't personalize these energies, rather use them to grow, recognizing your own higher power. This month is a great time to see our dreams unfold in miraculous, abundant ways. As long as we stay centered, we will be able to weather the changing energies.
