Knowing the typical foods I enjoy, I knew it was time to detox my system and improve my immune system before flu season hits. Breads, cheese and meats are very hard for the body to use when consuming daily. Fresh fruits and veggies however are a great way to flood the body with vitamins and minerals. It also provides a time for your body to rest from the process of digesting and concentrate on healing tissues.
I have so much more energy since starting the juice fast. I normally hit a low at 3pm everyday and feel a need for a nap. I am happy to report that I don't feel that low but I do get more hungry at that time of day.
